Unavailable Sensor Can’t See Face Clearly

Sun is shining into the Driver Attention System (DAS)
camera.

Dawn or dusk sun glare is on the driver’s face.

Cups, food, hands, or other objects are obscuring the
DAS view of the driver’s face.

The steering column is pointed too high or low for the
DAS to see the driver. Adjust the steering column or the
seat if the message occurs frequently.
