Congratulations on your purchase of the AccuMASTER XT
Moisture Meter. It's a tough, accurate tool for homeowners,
woodworkers, builders, home inspectors and flooring contractors.
Use the AccuMASTER XTto find moisture before it becomes a
costly problem. Easily check wood, lumber, drywall and concrete
before painting, sealing or treating. Quickly find water leaks in roofs,
walls and floors. With the AccuMASTER XT you'll always know
you're selecting dry lumber when buying wood for building or
selecting firewood for burning.
HOW TO USE

Caution: Handle with care when removing protective cover.
The measuring pins are very sharp
Remove the protective cap from the top of the
meter and attach it to the bottom end. Press
and hold the @ button to turn the unit on.
Press the @ button to select wood or
building material
Carefully press the test pins into the material you
want to measure. The Moisture Content (MC) is
displayed as a percentage, and the "raindrops" in
the LCD show the different ranges of moisture
content —low, medium or high. Audible alert gets
faster as moisture content increases
When measuring in a hard to reach place where
it's difficult to see the display, press the button
once to lock the MC reading. The icon will
appear on LCD. Press the button again to
release the hold
