  If your Cameron Control Unit valve isn't sealing correctly, several factors could be at play. First, ensure the valve is fully closed. If that's not the issue, there might be foreign matter obstructing the seal between the seat and disc; try operating the valve a few times to clear it. Also, check if the operator stops are properly set and adjust them if necessary. If the seat or disc is worn or damaged, replacement of the worn parts is required. Lastly, verify that the seat retainer screws are tightened to the correct torque specification.

  If your Cameron Control Unit valve is leaking around the stem, the cause may be that the packing retainer flange nuts are too loose; try tightening the packing nuts. Alternatively, the packing may be damaged, in which case you will need to replace the packing.

  If your Cameron Control Unit valve is hard to rotate, several issues could be the cause. The shaft packing might be too tight, in that case, tighten the packing only enough to stop any leaks. The operator might have failed or not been installed correctly, consider replacing or repairing it. A build-up of solids or roughness on the disc edge could be the problem; try operating the valve several times to wipe it clean, or disassemble the valve and clean the disc edge. If the shaft key has sheared, determine the cause of the shearing and replace the shaft key correctly. Finally, fluid solidification between the bearings and shaft could be the issue; try flushing the bearings.
