The engine may be overheating, indicated by the CHECK ENGINE light and HI TEMP display; if overheating, check and clean the radiator fins, reduce vehicle speed to allow airflow to the radiator; if it persists, stop the vehicle, set the transmission to PARK, turn the ignition switch to ON (without restarting the engine) to allow the radiator fan to cool the radiator, let the engine cool, check coolant level and refill if possible. A plugged or dirty air filter/housing can also restrict engine power; check the air filter and clean if necessary, check for deposits in the air filter housin...
