WHAT TO DO IN THE FOLLOWING
CIRCUMSTANCES
Lost Keys
Useyoursparekeytohaveanother
one made by an authorized Can-Am
roadster dealer as soon as possible. If
both keys are lost, the ig nition switch.
The key barrel of the rear storage com-
partment and the trailer key barrel (if
using a BRP traile r) will need to be re-
placed at the expense of the vehicle
owner.
Cannot Open the Side
Storage Compartment
Open the seat.
Remove both retaining s crews from
panel.

Pull out panel.
Disconnect the switch connector.
Remove panel.
Slide the mechanis m a s sh ow n to re-
lease the latch.

Reinstall switch and panel w hen done.
Flat Tire
If a tire has a major puncture or cut in
the tread an d is comp letely deflated,
have the vehicle transported to the
nearest Can-Am Spyder dealer. Refer
to
TRANSPORTING THE VEHICLE
for
transporting instructions.
If a tire has a minor nail or stone punc-
ture and is not completely deflated ,
the tire can be tempor arily repaired. To
temporarily re pair a tire, a self-infla t-
ing tire sealer or tire plug repair kit can
be used. Follow the manufacturer's
instructions that come with the tire
sealer or re pair kit and ha ve the tire
repaired or replaced by an authorized
Can-Am roadster dealer as soon as
possible.
When a tire is temporarily repaired,
ride slowly and carefully, and fre-
quently check tire pressure until it is
replaced or permanently repaired.
Dead Battery
If the battery is dead or too low to crank
theengine,itcanbejumpstarted.
