Conexión de red:
prepare el cable Ethernet
o los dispositivos de red,

(no suministrado).
Evite que caigan objetos dentro del equipo. Podrían provocar fallos en el funcionamiento.
La bandeja de salida del papel (Paper Output Tray) se abre automáticamente al comenzar la
impresión. Mantenga la parte frontal de la bandeja libre de obstáculos.
No conecte aún el cable USB
o Ethernet.
Conecte el cable de alimentación.

The Paper Output Tray opens automatically as printing starts. Keep the front of the tray clear of any
obstacles.

cable yet.

Document Cover must be closed to lift Scanning Unit / Cover!

Setup Location Requirements

Open Paper Output Tray

Open the paper output tray to prepare for printing and paper feeding.

Open and Unlock Scanner

Open document cover, unlock scanner, and close cover for access.

Remove Protective Materials

Lift scanning unit/cover and remove orange tape and protective material.

Close Scanning Unit/Cover

Close the scanning unit and cover after removing internal protective items.

Connect Power Cord

Connect the power cord; avoid connecting USB or Ethernet cables at this stage.

Ink Tank Installation and Initial Setup

Power On and Adjust LCD

Adjust LCD angle and press the ON button to power on the printer.

Select Language

Select the desired language and confirm with the OK button.

Confirm Initial Screen

When the initial screen appears, touch the OK button to proceed.

Ink Tank Installation

Install ink tanks by inserting them into the corresponding color slots until the lamp lights up.

Check Indicator Lamps

Verify that all ink tank indicator lamps are lit after installation.

Complete Cleaning Cycle

Wait for approximately 4 minutes for the print head cleaning cycle to complete.

Compatible Ink Tanks

List of compatible ink tank models and their order numbers.

Print Head Alignment Procedure

Perform Print Head Alignment

Align the print head using the supplied MP-101 paper in the rear tray.

Prepare Rear Tray for Alignment

Open rear tray, extend output tray extension, and adjust paper guides.

Load Alignment Paper

Load MP-101 paper in the rear tray and adjust guides to fit the paper width.

Start Alignment Process

When prompted, touch the OK button to start the print head alignment process.

Alignment Completion

The blue-black pattern is printed, indicating that print head alignment is complete.

Printer Configuration and Software Installation

Setting Plain Paper

Configure the printer for plain paper by loading it into the cassette.

Load Plain Paper in Cassette

Load plain paper into the cassette and adjust paper guides for proper feeding.

Confirm Paper Settings

Touch the OK button to confirm the paper settings for plain paper printing.

Install Software from CD-ROM

Install the printer software and drivers using the Setup CD-ROM on your computer.

Connect USB Cable During Install

Connect the USB cable to the computer when prompted by the installation software.
