If you prefer not to use the digital zoom (p. 62), you can deactivate it as
follows.
Configure the setting.
z Press the n button, choose [Digital
Zoom] on the 4 tab, and then choose [Off]
(p. 51).
You can check the focus by pressing the shutter button halfway to enlarge the
image area in the AF frame.
Configure the setting.
z Press the n button, choose [AF-Point
Zoom] on the 4 tab, and then choose [On]
(p. 51).
Check the focus.
z Press the shutter button halfway. The face
detected as the main subject is now
magnified.
z To restore the original setting, choose [Off] in
step 1.
