Deactivating the Red-Eye Reduction Lamp

You can deactivate the red-eye reduction lamp that lights up to reduce
red-eye when the ash is used in low-light shots.

Access the [Flash Settings] screen.
Press the [ ] button, choose [Flash
Settings] on the [ ] tab, and then press
the [ ] button (

Congure the setting.
Choose [Red-Eye Lamp], and then
choose [Off] (

To restore the original setting, repeat this
process but choose [On].

The lamp (front) lights up to help you focus when you press the shutter
button halfway in low-light conditions. If you prefer, you can deactivate this
lamp.

assist Beam] on the [ ] tab, and then
