Using a Household Power Source
You are advised to use a household power source for long periods of use and for
connecting to a computer.

Attach the power cord to the compact
power adapter and plug it into an
electrical outlet.

Open the terminal cover and connect
the DC plug of the compact power
adapter to the cameras DC IN terminal.
Always disconnect and unplug the compact
power adapter after use.
Always turn the cameras power off before connecting or disconnecting the
compact power adapter.
Battery Pack BP-511 cannot be charged while the compact power adapter is being
used to run the camera (main dial is set to any position other than Off).
Do not use Compact Power Adapter CA-560 to power to any device other than
one for which Battery Pack BP-511 is specified.
