using the sleep function
u While unit is on, press the SLEEP button on the remote control. The unit display will show SLEEP and “90” for
approximately 5 seconds, indicating 90 minutes audio playback before the unit automatically powers off.
v To select desired time, press SLEEP button repeatedly to display time in 10 minute increments descending from
90 to 10 minutes. Pause at the desired duration. After 5 seconds the duration time will disappear from the
display and “SLEEP” will appear on the display.
notes: To VIEW THE REMAINING SLEEP time, press the SLEEP button once.
To CANCEL THE SLEEP function, repeatedly press the SLEEP button until “OFF” appears on the display.

u With the unit off, press and hold the TIMER button until the TIMER ON hour blinks in the display.
v Within a few seconds, press the SKIP UP + or SKIP DOWN – button to set the TIMER ON hour. Then press the TIMER
button again to conrm. Repeat to set the TIMER ON minute.
w Press the SKIP UP + or SKIP DOWN – button to set the desired mode (BT, Tuner, CD). Then press the TIMER button
again to conrm.
notes: To CANCEL THE TIMER, unit must be in POWER OFF mode. Press the TIMER button and "Timer" will disappear
from display. To STOP THE TIMER, press the "STANDBY" button.
If you want to use your iPod or CD as the source for timer fuction, please make sure your iPod or iPhone is docked correctly
or a CD is loaded properly in the CD compartment.
