all
respects
except
for
the
diameter
of
the
blower
wheel
(fan)
which
is
larger
in
Model
201CRD
to
provide
adequate
air

the
higher
firing
range.
All
other
parts
are
interchangeable,
a
significant
advantage
in
servicing
and
in
keeping
parts
in¬
ventories
to
the
lowest
possible
level.

Carlin
"CRD"
oil
burners
feature
an
adjustable
com¬
bustion
head
assembly
which
permits
regulation
of
the
air
pattern
in
the
flame
front
area
for
optimum
velocity
with
symmetrical
distribution
whether
the
firing
rate
be
at
the
low,
intermediate,
or
high
portion
of
the
firing
range.
The
usual
lack
of
turbulence
at
the
lower
firing
range
in
other
burners
has
been
overcome
and
the
adjustment
feature
"tunes
out"
instabilities
and
rough
starts
inherent
in
fixed-head
designs.
Significant
advantages
offered
by
"CRD"
burners
include:
Smooth
operation,
relatively
low
noise
level.
Clean
combustion;
zero
to
trace
of
smoke.
Instantaneous
cut-off
assured
by
solenoid
oil
valve.
