EN 10
07 CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning the appliance, always unplug it from the mains and wait until
it has cooled down.
• Wipe the body with a slightly damp cloth or sponge without abrasive
detergents.
• Remove the tank and rack and wash with a mild detergent or in the
dishwasher. If the tank and rack are heavily soiled, soak them in hot water
for 10 minutes. To avoid damaging the non-stick coating of the tank and
rack, do not use brushes or abrasive products.
• Dry thoroughly before reuse.
• Wipe the inside of the appliance with a damp cloth previously soaked in
hot water, then wipe dry with a clean cloth.
• Clean the heating element with a dry brush to remove any food residue.
• Store the appliance in a cool, dark place out of children’s reach. When
storing the appliance, make sure that the power cord is not tangled.
WARNING!
• Do not remove the tank immediately after cooking: the oil/fat will be
very hot. Wait for the appliance to cool down.
• Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids. Do not wash the
appliance in the dishwasher. Only the removable elements (tank and
rack) may be washed in the dishwasher.
