05 BEFORE USE
06 OPERATION
• After storage and transportation in low temperature conditions, it is
recommended to keep the appliance warm for two hours before turning
it on.
• Remove the appliance from its packaging. Remove all protective lms,
stickers and other packing materials from the appliance. Make sure that
the appliance is supplied as specied by the manufacturer and that no
parts of the appliance are damaged.
• Clean the tank and wire rack thoroughly in hot water with a small amount
of detergent and a non-abrasive sponge. The tank and rack can be washed
in the dishwasher. Wipe the inte-rior and exterior of the appliance with a
damp cloth.
• Place the appliance on a at, stable and heat-resistant work surface,
where water splashes cannot reach it. Place the rack in the tank, then put
the tank into the appliance. The appli-ance cooks food using hot air. Do
not ll the pan with oil or frying fat.
• Unwind and straighten the power cord.
• Start the appliance without food and start any program for 15 minutes.
During rst use, it is possible that foreign odors and even a little smoke
from burning lubricants and dust may appear – this is not a malfunction.
Ventilate the room well after use.
1. Place the rack in the tank and place the food on it. Slide the tank into the
appliance. Never use the tank without the rack!
2. Connect the appliance to a power socket with a voltage corresponding
to the technical specications of the appliance. A buzzer will sound and
the indicators on the control panel will light up. If there is no activity for
5 minutes, the appliance will go into standby mode. Press to resume
cooking.
3. Use the button to select an automatic program: the display will show
the default cook-ing time and temperature. If necessary, you can adjust
them. Set the temperature with the / buttons. Use / to set
the time.
4. Press to start cooking.
5. Press again to pause cooking.
