01 SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read the safety precautions carefully before using the appliance for the rst
time. Keep the in-struction manual for future reference and, if necessary, pass
it on to other users. Handle the appliance with care and warn other users of
potential dangers.

Caution! Hot surface.
Surfaces can become hot during use. Use heat-resistant gloves if
the appliance must be moved to another location. Touch only the
handle or buttons of the op-erating appliance.
• Before using the appliance, make sure that the operating voltage of the
appliance corre-sponds to the mains voltage. Check the appliance for
mechanical damage. Do not use the appliance if any mechanical damage
is found.
• The appliance must be connected to a grounded socket.
• It is not recommended to connect the appliance to the mains using
extension cords, split-ters and adapters.
• Connect the appliance only to an AC power source.
• The appliance must not be operated by an external timer or separate
remote control sys-tem.
• To avoid overloading the mains power supply, it is not recommended to
operate several appliances with high power consumption at the same
time.
• Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids. Do not touch the
appliance with wet hands while it is plugged in. Do not place a wet tankl
in the appliance. If the appliance gets wet, disconnect it from the mains
immediately.
• Do not place the appliance near water or other liquids or near heating
or radiators.
• Do not use the appliance for other than its intended use.
• Do not use the appliance outdoors.
• Do not use the appliance where aerosols are sprayed or ammable
liquids are used.
