EMERGENCY
Unit display and switch panel
Indoor unit display
A (green/red): Operation LED
When illuminated, this LED is normally green; it is
red when the “AUTO-RESTART” function has been
set. When the unit is switched ON for the first time
or after a power supply failure with “AUTO-
RESTART” not activated, the LED flashes green.
B (green): Economy LED
This is only ON, when unit operates in ECONOMY
mode.
C (orange): Timer LED
This is only ON, when TIMER ON/OFF is set.
D (red): Preheating-defrost LED
This is ON when the system perfors a preheating
or a defrost operation.
“EMERGENCY” button:
Can be used when the remote control is lost or inoperative.
Emergency operation
When the remote control is lost, damaged or the battery is
discharged, the EMERG. button can be used to run the unit.
• Press the EMERGENCY button in the OFF mode condition.
- The unit operates automatically according to the room
temperature by selecting either cooling or heating operation.
• If you want to stop the emergency operation, push the
EMERGENCY button again or operate remote control.
The operating conditions in EMERGENCY mode are the following:
- Operation mode: AUTO
- Preset temperature: 24°C
- Fan speed: AUTO
- Discharge air direction: Set automatically according to
operation mode.
