Why Carrier 69NT40--541--200 TO 299 unit will not start or starts then stops?

The Carrier Refrigerator unit may fail to start or may start and then stop due to several reasons. Check if the external power source is ON, the start-stop switch is ON and not defective, and the circuit breaker hasn't tripped or is OFF. Other potential causes include a disconnected autotransformer, a defective control transformer, blown fuses (F3A, F3B), an open evaporator or condenser fan motor internal protector, an open compressor internal protector, an open high-pressure switch, an open heat termination thermostat, low line voltage, single phasing, shorted or grounded motor windings, or a seized compressor. Addressing these issues involves actions like turning on the power, checking and replacing components as necessary.
