Cooling Mode
Thermostat energizes R to G, R to Y, and R to O (heat pump only). G and
Y pass through the dissipation board to their respective outputs. G
energizes the fan relay on the PCB which completes the circuit to the
indoor blower motor. When G is de-energized, there is a 90-second delay
before the fan relay opens.
Heating with Auxiliary Hydronic Coil
Thermostat energizes R to G, R to Y, and R to W connections. G and Y
pass through the dissipation board to their respective outputs. G
energizes the fan relay on the PCB which completes the circuit to the
indoor blower motor. W energizes the white/violet wire labeled “W or
Y/Y2” and can be used to communicate with a hydronic coil in single
stage applications only. Refer to the hydronic coil instructions for proper
wiring. When G is de-energized there is a 90-second delay before the fan
relay opens.
