viouslyttedontherearoftheengine.
13.-Removethexedstandpreviouslypositionedunder
thesupportofthegrooveofthedriveofthefrontaxle
andthewoodenplug.
14.-RemovethexedU--boltttedbeforehandunder
theballastsupportandthetwowoodenwedgeslock-
ingthefrontwheels.
15.-Removetheoldsealingpastefromthetwosurfaces
betweentheengineandclutchcasing.
16.-ApplyLOCTITE®518sealingcompoundontheen-
gineandclutchcasingmatingsurfaces.
17.-Putawoodenblockundertheright-handrear
wheel,makesurethatthehandbrakeisfullyapplied
andthatallxedandmobilestandsaresafelyposi-
tioned.
18.-Theinstallationphasedescribedhererequiresthe
presenceoftwoorthreeworkerstousethemovable
toolfordismantlingtractors380000569tomovethe
engine/frontaxleassemblyclosetothegearbox.
19.-Inthephaseofinstallingtheengine/frontaxleas-
semblytothegearbox,itisnecessarytopushonthe
frontwheels,takinggreatcareintheendphaseof
couplingoverboththepipesandthecables/electri-
calconnectionstopreventcrushingbetweenthetwo
bodies.Duringthisphase,itismoreovernecessary
toturnthecrankshaftwiththeaidoftheradiatorcool-
ingfantohelpthecouplingbetweenthesleeveand
thedriveshaft.
20.-Securebothassembliesbytighteningallthebolts
lockingtheenginetothegearbox.
21.-Disconnectthehoistchains,removetheU--boltpre-
viouslyttedundertheclutchcasingandrecoverthe
movabletoolfordismantlingtractors380000569.
22.-Retthebracketsupportingthecabconnectors,
cabpowerandcuplter,connectthepipethatjoins
thelattertothemechanicalprimingpumponthesed-
imentlter.
23.-Ontheleft-handside,connectthecabpowercable
connector,takeitontothemaxifuseboxandlockit
withclamps.
24.-Returnthemainenginecablebackintoposition,
connecttheconnectorstothesensorsandswitches
locatedontheengine,onthecontrolunitandonthe
maxifusebox,fastenthewiringwithclamps.
25.-LayouttheFTPinterface-enginecableonthema-
chine,reconnectthevariousconnectionsandsecure
thewiringwithclamps.
26.-Fitthestartermotorbackon,thenconnectthetwo
groundwiresontheengineandbatterysystem.
