BREAKAWAY LINK
Disassembly
1. Lower the mower onto a flat level surface.
Remove the cotter pins and slide the pins, 1, out
to remove the breakaway link assembly, 2, from
the mower.
2. Clamp the assembly in a vise with the spring
facing up. Remove the nut, 1, washer and spring,
2; the pawl, 3, may now be lifted off the slide
assembly.
