Intendeduse
TheintendeduseofSteiger®,andQuadtrac®series
tractorswithstandardequipmentandauthorizedattach-
mentsisforcustomaryfarming,landleveling,andrelated
agriculturaloperations.Standardequipmentincludes
rear-drawbartowedimplementsandhitch-mountedim-
plementsfortillage,planting,seeding,andhauling.You
oraCASEIHauthorizeddealermustinstallattachments
foragriculturalliquidchemicalapplicationinawaythat
doesnotimpairthesafeoperationofthetractor.Com-
pliancewithandstrictadherencetotheconditionsof
operation,service,andrepair,asspeciedbyCASE
IH,andincludingconditionsastoinspection,cleaning
andmaintenance,constituteessentialelementsofthe
intendeduse.
CASEIHdoesnotintendfortheuseofthistractorfor
forestryworkorwithloaders.Thecabonthistractordoes
notoffersufcientprotection.CASEIHdoesnotapprove
theinstallationoruseofunauthorizedframe-mountedor
otherattachments.Noattachmentshouldbeusedina
mannerthatwouldbegroundengagingorforpushing
anythingotherthanloosematerial(i.e.silage,compost,
snow).YouoraCASEIHauthorizeddealermustinstall
attachmentsinawaythatdoesnotimpairthesafeopera-
tionofthetractor.Thetractorwarrantywillnotcoverany
tractordamagethatresultsfromtheinstallationand/or
useofsuchequipment.
ConsultanauthorizedCASEIHdealerorCNHIndustrial
AmericaLLConchanges,additions,ormodicationsthat
thistractormayrequiretocomplywithvariousregulations
andsafetyrequirements.Unauthorizedmodicationswill
causeseriousinjuryordeath.Anyonewhomakessuch
unauthorizedmodicationsisresponsiblefortheconse-
quences.
Onlyusethistractorinthemannerdescribedinthepro-
videdmanuals,decals,andotherproductsafetymateri-
als.Thesematerialsdenetheintendeduseofthetrac-
tor.CASEIHconsidersuseinanyotherwayascontrary
totheintendeduse.CASEIHacceptsnoliabilityforany
damageorinjurythatresultsfromthismisuse.Theuser
mustsolelybeartheserisks.
Allpersonswhowilloperatethistractorshallpossessa
validlocalvehicle-operatingpermitand/orotherapplica-
blelocalageworkpermits.
Allpersonswhooperate,service,andrepairthistractor
mustbefamiliarwithallitsparticularcharacteristics,and
understandtherelevantsafetyrules.
Anyarbitrarymodicationscarriedoutonthetractorwill
relieveCASEIHofallliabilityforanyresultingdamageor
injury.
