KEEP THE LOADER PROPERLY
MAINTAINED
• DO NOT operate a machine that is defective or
has missing parts. Make sure all recommended
maintenance procedures are completed before
operating the machine.
• Check all controls regularly and adjust as
needed. Make sure tractor brakes are evenly
adjusted.
• Periodically check all nuts and bolts for tightness,
especially tractor wheel attaching hardware. See
“Lubrication and maintenance” for hardware
torque
specifications.
• Make sure loader is correctly installed on the
tractor, and that attaching pins are locked.
TRACTOR BALLAST AND TREAD
ADJUSTMENT
• Make sure tractor has rear ballast (weight) to
stabilize the load--carrying capacity of the
machine.
• Move tractor wheels to the widest recommended
setting to increase stability.
• See ”Operaton” in this manual for ballast and
tread width information. Also see tractor’s
manual for more information.
