PROVIDE SIGNALS FOR JOBS INVOLVING
A NUMBER OF MACHINES
• For jobs involving several machines, provide signals
commonly known by all personnel involved.
Also, appoint a signal person to co-ordinate the job
site.
Make sure that all personnel obey the signal person’s
directions.

CONFIRM DIRECTION WHERE THE
MACHINE IS TO BE DRIVEN
• Instinctive travel pedal operation may result in
serious injury and even death.
- Before driving the machine, be aware of the
undercarriage position relative to the operator’s
seat.
- If swinging/steering axle is located behind towards
the counterweight, the machine will move reverse
when control pedal is moved forwards.
