8.After this procedure is completed, the display
shown to the right appears.
9.After clicking Explore icon in the right dialog box,
click My Pocket PC icon.
10.Doing so, Storage Card holder icon will appears.
"Storage Card" holder indicates CF card. If CF
card is not inserted into the slot, this holder will not
appear.
11.After clicking this icon, make a new holder named
jx590diag.
12.Make a new holder named casioconfidential in
jx590diag holder.
Perform these spellings precisely.
Otherwise, the installation of the diagnostic
program can not be performed.
13.Enter diag.exe file in this casioconfidential holder.
Total directory is as follows;
Storage Card>jx590diag>casioconfidential>diag.exe
14.Doing so, the installation of the diagnostic
program to CF card and D-RAM in the unit starts
automatically.
15.While performing this installation, the display
shown to the right will appear.
16.Completing this installation, the display shown to
the right will appear.
* Once the diagnostic program is installed in CF
card and D-RAM in the unit, this program is not
deleted even if RESET operation is performed.
17.After making diag holder in Storage Card holder,
enter diagboot.exe file into this diag holder. Total
directory is as follows;
Storage Card>diag>diagboot.exe
Note: diagboot.exe file is needed to make the
diagnostic program development more easier.
This file may be applicable to all units adopted CF card in future.
If diagboot.exe file is not entered in diag holder, the operation check will not be booted
when pressing Contacts button while holding Power button.
18.Performing the following operation with the unit, confirm that the diagnostic program has been
installed in CF card according to the following procedure.
Tapping Start, Programs, File Explore, My documents, My Device, Storage Card, jx590diag,
and then casioconfidential holder using a stylus, diag icon will appear.
If diag icon appears, the diagnostic program is installed in CF card.
After tapping casioconfidential, tap Storage Card holder.
Then, confirm that there is a diagboot icon in diag holder.
Tapping above diag icon, Main Menu for this Operation Check display appears.
Operation Check can be booted using above operation.
