above
operation
also
causes
pad
sounds
to
be
transposed.
Note,
however,
that
some
tones
do
note
sound
correct
after
being
transposed.
Because
of
this,
the
keyboard
automatically
substitutes
a
different
tone
to
the
pad.

Each
of
the
128
preset
tones
has
a
specific
range
in
which
it
can
sound
(see
the
Note
Table
on
page
A-6).
If
a
transpose
operation
causes
a
note
to
exceed
its
upper
or
lower
range,
the
same
note
in
the
nearest
upper
or
lower
octave
is
used
instead.
