from All Test MENU-3 screen.
Talk over the DT-X200/DT-X8
microphone.
Sound input from the DT-X200/DT-
X8 microphone is output from the
speaker.
The judgment screen appears.
If sound is output (OK):
Press the “1” key.
If sound is not output (Failure):
Press the “0” key.
Pressing the “1” or “ 0” key returns
you to the Menu screen.
17. Vibrator

[8].Vibrator” from All
Test MENU-4 screen.
The vibrator vibrates for approx. 3
seconds.
The judgment screen appears.
If vibrator is activated properly (OK):
Press the “1” key.
If vibrator is not activated (Failure):
Press the “0” key.
Pressing the “1” or “0” key returns
you to the Menu screen.
18. Laser Barcode Read (*1D Laser model only)
Note:
When the MAIN-UNIT or LASER UNIT is replaced with a new one, perform Laser
Calibration before stating this test.

Select “Start” - “Programs” -
“Utility” - “Barcode Demo”.
Five menu buttons (Scan
barcode, Scan several
barcodes, Scan barcode with
focus, Challenge scanning
Speed and Setting) are
displayed.
Click the menu button “1 Scan
barcode” and press the Trigger
key to read a barcode.
The read data is displayed on the
screen.
Check that the barcode is read
correctly.
Click the “Exit” button at the
bottom left to close the screen.
Note:
In this screen, you can change
the scan mode and swing control,
as required. Further, by pressing
the “Change” button at the bottom
right, you can change the gain
mode and decode level.
