First, ensure the AC adapter is correctly attached, the batteries are properly inserted (+/–), and the batteries aren't depleted. Next, check the MAIN VOLUME slider and increase the volume. Also, unplug any headphones from the PHONES/OUTPUT jack. Ensure the POWER/MODE selector is set to NORMAL, as normal play isn't possible in CASIO CHORD or FINGERED modes. If tone “99 PERCUSSION” is selected, only keys with percussion instrument illustrations will produce sound. Finally, ensure LOCAL CONTROL is turned on.
