  If your Casio Electronic Keyboard isn't producing sound, several factors could be responsible. First, ensure the AC adapter is correctly attached, the batteries are properly inserted (+/–), and the batteries aren't depleted. Next, check the MAIN VOLUME slider and increase the volume. Also, unplug any headphones from the PHONES/OUTPUT jack. Ensure the POWER/MODE selector is set to NORMAL, as normal play isn't possible in CASIO CHORD or FINGERED modes. If tone “99 PERCUSSION” is selected, only keys with percussion instrument illustrations will produce sound. Finally, ensure LOCAL CONTROL is turned on.

Try using a full metal shielded Cannon type microphone. Also, the microphone might be too close to fluorescent lighting. Try moving the microphone away from the source of the static.
