Why does my Casio LK-43 Electronic Keyboard have no sound when keys are pressed?
- PpamelawebbJul 26, 2025
There are several reasons why your Casio Electronic Keyboard might not be producing sound when you press the keys. It could be due to a power supply problem. Ensure the AC adapter is correctly attached, the batteries are properly installed (+/–) and not dead. Also, check the volume level by pressing the VOLUME button. If you have headphones plugged in, unplug them from the PHONES/OUTPUT jack. Make sure the POWER/MODE selector is set to NORMAL, not CASIO CHORD or FINGERED. If you've selected Tone '99 PERCUSSION', only the keys marked with percussion instrument illustrations will produce sound. Finally, ensure that LOCAL CONTROL is turned on.
