This PAX IPL version has a new Special Character file (File # 23). The file size
has been increased from 94 records to 110 records to accommodate new
features related to the PAX interface. This will mean that a program previously
backed up on a RAC-12B card cannot be used. An existing program would have
to be uploaded to the Casio CV-10 or CV-11 programming software and then
files individually sent to the machine, except the Special Character file, after the
IPL upgrade.
The new records in the Special Character pertaining to the PAX interface are:
Record #96 – PAX software version number (default in this record is 1.12). This
value not present or a machine with the original Special Character file will result
in the machine not working with the PAX SP-30.
