4. Depress the CF Card button
5. Select Data Restore and the list of customer programs on the card will
appear, highlight the desired program and hit the YES key
NOTE: Before connecting anything to the cash register unplug the cash
register’s power source. Connecting equipment to the terminal while there is
power can result in equipment damage (component & equipment failure).
1. All COM ports on both QT terminals are located underneath the front of
the terminal.
2. The QT-6100 has three (3) COM ports and the QT-6600 has six (6) COM
ports. The PAX device can be connected to either COM 2 or COM 3. Both
COM 2 & 3 on the QT terminals supply 5volts on pin #9 to power the PAX
device.
3. The PAX SP-30 device has a coiled Y-cable attached with two (2) RJ
connectors. There will be a second cable with a RJ-15 and DB-9
connector. Connect the RJ-15 connector into the corresponding
connector on the SP-30 and the DB-9 connector on COM 2 or 3 of the QT.
.
4. The second connector on the SP-30’s attached cable is a RJ-45 connector
used to connect the SP-30 to the Internet connection.
