5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Turno,unplugtheappliancefromthepowersupply,emptythewater
tank and allow it to cool down completely after each use.
• If there is any fabric adhered to the soleplate, use a damp cloth with
vinegartowipeothesoleplate.
• Do not use abrasive scouring pads, powders or cleaners to clean the
product.

Why does the iron or gar-
ment steamer remain cold?
The iron or garment steamer is not switched on. Press the
iron or garment steamer power-on button.
The Autocleaning process may be in progress. Wait for the
processtonishandthenswitchontheapplianceagain.
Theautomaticshut-ofunctionmayhavebeenactivated.
Theapplianceisswitchedoautomaticallywhenthesteam
generator has not been used for 15 minutes. Press power-on
switch once to restart the appliance. It is ready for use when
the light on the iron or garment steamer turns blue.
Why doesn’t the iron
or garment steamer
produce any steam?
There may not be enough water in the water tank or the
water tank is not placed in the water tank compartment
properly.
Fill the water tank and put it back into the water tank
compartment properly.
The appliance may not be hot enough to produce steam.
Heating up takes two minutes. Wait until the light on the iron
or garment steamer turns blue. Then press the steam trigger
to start steam ironing or press the steam activator to start
steaming.
You may not have pressed the steam trigger on the iron
or the steam activator on the garment steamer. Press the
steam trigger to start steam ironing or press the steam
activator to start steaming.
