Secure the specimen slide on the specimen stage using the specimen slide clips.
Turn the turret to the desired magnification, starting with 50x.
Turn the LED ON/OFF switch right to illuminate transparent specimens.
Turn the LED ON/OFF switch left to illuminate non-transparent specimens.
Turn the LED ON/OFF switch to the middle to turn off all LEDs.
Open the battery compartment, install 3 AA batteries, and replace the compartment door.
Turn the Focusing Dial to raise or lower the specimen stage for a sharp image.
Use the Zoom Dial to adjust the image magnification.
Pull back the Microscope Arm to adjust the viewing angle.
Remove from arm for handheld use, requiring sufficient lighting.
Attach smartphone adapter to eyepiece for capturing images.
