Usage Features:

The washing machine offers a variety of washing programs and auxiliary functions, selectable via a rotary knob and buttons on the control panel.

  • Program Selection: Programs include "Synthetics," "Cold Wash," "Cotton," "Cotton Intense," "ECO 40-60 °C," "Drum Cleaning," "Spin," "Rinse and Spin," "Delicate Wash," and "Fast Wash" (15, 30, or 45 minutes). Models CT-1901 and CT-1902 also feature "Steam Treatment," while CT-1903 and CT-1904 have a "Drain" program.
  • Auxiliary Functions:
    • Pre-Wash: For heavily soiled clothes or those with hard-to-remove stains. It involves a slower, less frequent drum rotation and lower water temperature to allow detergent to penetrate fibers.
    • Additional Rinse: Adds an extra rinsing cycle for more thorough detergent removal, beneficial for children's clothes or allergy sufferers.
    • No Drying Function: Disables the drying mode, suitable for delicate fabrics like wool, fine fabrics, or sports thermal underwear.
    • Silent Mode: Disables audio signals and notifications. Activated by pressing and holding the "Pre-Wash" button for 3 seconds.
    • Child Lock Function: Locks all functions and modes (except shutdown) to prevent accidental operation by children. Activated by simultaneously pressing and holding the "Additional Rinse" and "No Drying" buttons for 3 seconds after a program has been selected and started.
    • Delayed Washing End: Allows setting a desired completion time (3, 6, or 9 hours) for the washing cycle.
    • Steam Treatment (CT-1901, CT-1902): Steam penetrates deep into fibers, disinfecting clothes from bacteria, fungi, and allergens, and neutralizing unpleasant odors. It also softens fabric and smooths out creases, useful for preventing heavy creasing after high-speed spinning. This program can be used independently to refresh clothes.
    • Drain (CT-1903, CT-1904): A separate program to drain water from the washing machine, used if the washing process was stopped and water remains inside.
  • Detergent Tray: Divided into compartments for pre-wash detergent (I), main wash detergent (II), and conditioner/rinsing agent. Liquid detergent for main wash should be added just before starting the program to prevent hardening or premature flow into the drum.
  • Laundry Sorting: Clothes should be sorted by care instructions, fabric type, contamination level (heavy, normal, light), color (white, light, dark), and pile (if applicable) for optimal washing results. Metal components should be removed or placed in a mesh bag to prevent damage.

Maintenance Features:

Regular maintenance is crucial for extending the appliance's service life and ensuring proper operation.

  • General Cleaning: Wipe the outer surface with a mild, non-abrasive detergent. Avoid aggressive chemicals, solvents, or sharp objects.
  • Drum Cleaning: Wipe the drum dry after each use to prevent residue buildup and mold growth. The "Drum Cleaning" function (90 °C) should be used regularly (at least 4 times a year, or monthly with frequent washing) to remove dirt and odors. Ensure the drum is empty before running this program.
  • Door Glass and Seal Cleaning: Wipe the glass and seal after each wash to remove lint and stains. Remove coins, buttons, and other small objects from the seal folds to prevent unpleasant odors from trapped water.
  • Drain Pump Filter Cleaning: This filter retains fabric scraps and small foreign objects. It should be cleaned regularly to ensure proper drainage and prevent unusual noises or blockages. Never remove the pump cover during a rinsing cycle, and ensure proper seating after reinstallation.
  • Water Intake Filter Cleaning: The filter in the water supply hose should be cleaned every 3 months. Disconnect the hose, pull out the filter with pliers, clean it, and reinstall. It is recommended to clean the tap filter first, then the machine filter.
  • Detergent Tray Cleaning: The tray and its compartments should be removed (by pressing a latch above the conditioner compartment), rinsed with water, and cleaned with an old toothbrush or similar tool every 3 months. Avoid alcohol, solvents, or chemicals.

Safety Precautions:

  • Always unplug the appliance and close the water tap before any cleaning or maintenance.
  • Do not use flammable, explosive, or toxic solvents for cleaning.
  • Ensure proper installation, including removing transport bolts, leveling the machine, and securing water connections.
  • The appliance should not be operated in rooms below 5 °C.
  • Do not overload the machine.
  • Keep children and pets away from the appliance, especially during operation.
  • If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by qualified personnel.
  • In case of malfunction, contact an authorized service center.
