Theproceduresoutlinedinthismanualrequireadegreeoftechnicalandmechanicalskill.TheOpener
shouldalwaysbeinstalledandadjustedbyatechnicallyqualifiedperson.Itisnotrecommendedtobe
installedbyahomehandyman.NeverinstalltheOpeneronapoorlyadjustedorworngaragedoor.
BeforecommencinginstallationoftheOpenercheckthatthegaragedoorisfunctioningcorrectly.Itmustbewellbalanced
andoperatesmoothlyandfreelyandnotbindorstickinthesidetracksnormakecontactwithanysupportingmembers.
Whenreleasedfromanypositionitshouldnotrise
orfallmorethan100mm.Theeffortrequiredtoopenorclosethedoorby
handshouldnotexceed150N(15kg).
Theminandmaxmountingpositions,asmeasuredfromtheedgeofthedoorcurtaintotheinneredgeofitsmounting
bracket,are40and50mm.(Fig.1)
Ifthedistanceislessthan40mmormorethan50mmthendoorbracketmustbemovedsoastofall
withintheboundsof
these2dimensions.
DeterminetowhichendofthedoortheOpenerwillbeinstalledandselectthedipswitchaccordingtothefollowing:
LeftHandSideInstallation‐Dip6“ON”(Fig.7‐G)RightHandSideInstallation‐Dip6“OFF”(Fig.7‐G)

Removeorrenderinoperativeallexistinglocksandropes.
SelectthesideofthedoortowhichtheOpenerwillbefitted
Ensurethatthedoorbracket,towhichtheOpenerwillbeinstalled,isthecorrectdistancefromtheedgeofthecurtain.
Openthedoor
fullyandensurethatthedoorstoppershaveengagedwithtrackstoppers.
Placeapropunderthedoorasclosetotheedgeaspossibleandisadjustedsothatitsitsfirmlyunderthegaragedoor.(Fig.2)
CheckU‐boltonoppositesideofdoorandensure
thatitissecurelytightened.
Removethe(Openerside)U‐boltfromthedoorbracketandthenremovethedoormountingbracketfromthewall.
OrienttheOpenersothatits2forkslineupwiththenarrowestofthegaragedoordrumwheelspokes.
Slidethe
Openerontothedooraxleandpushitfullyintothedoorsothatitsitsagainstthedrumwheel.(Fig.2)
Refitthedoormountingbrackettothewallmakingsuretotightenthemountingbracketscrewssecurely.(Fig.3)
InserttheU‐boltsuppliedthroughtheOpeneranddoor
bracketslotsandthensecurewiththenutsandwashersprovided.
Checkthemanualoperationofthedoorbyfullyraisingandloweringitseveraltimesandensureitrunssmoothlyanddoesnot
catchonanypartoftheOpener
Thedoorcurtainmustbesecuredtothedrumwheelwithselfdrillingscrewsatbothsidesofthedoor.
Withthedoorfullyclosed,markthecurtainatpoints“A”and“B”ensuringthatthefixingpointsareatleast90degapart.

Openthe
doorslightlysoastohaveaccesstothemarkedpositionsthensecurethecurtaintothedrumwheelasdepicted.
Ensurescrewsdonotinterferewiththerunningofthedoororoperator.
Securelyfixtheweightbartothetopedgeofthedoorrailwiththescrewsandnutsprovided.(Fig.5)
AttachtheEntrapmentWarningLabeltothewallinaprominentpositionadjacenttotheOpener.(Fig.5)
Connecttoaproperlyearthedpowersupplyusingthepowercordprovided.(Fig.5)
Important Note: Ensure that the power cord does not touch the moving door and that no excess cord hangs below the
Openerwhenitispluggedin.
TheOpenerisnowinstalledandreadyfor
adjustment.
