chaflng,
security,
proper
routing
and
support,
and evidence
of deterioration.
Inspect tho intake and
exhaust systems
for cracks,
evi-
dence of
leakage, and seourity
of attachment.
Elngine
controls
and linkageg should
be checked for freedom
of
movement
through tJreir
fullrange,
socurity
of attactrment
and evidence
of wear. Inspeot
wiring for security, chafing,
burning,
defective insulation,
loose
or
broken terminals,
heat deterioratlon,
and corroded terminals. Cheok
the
alternator belt in accordance
with
Service
Manual instruc-
tions, and retighten if necessary. Aperiodic check
of these
items
during subsequent
servicing
operations is
recom-
mended.
