EPS Malfunction Indicator Light
The Electronic Power Steering syem on your vehicle contains a self-diagnoic feature that will illuminate
the malfunction indicator light (MIL) if it detects a problem,when this indicator ashes, please contact your
dealer. In normal operation, the EPS indicator will be on after the ignition switch is turned to ON, but EPS will
not work. When the engine is arted, the EPS indicator will be o and the EPS arts to function.
Each trouble code consis of 2 digits, denoted by the times of long ash and short ash of EPS MIL
indicator. If there is a failure, the EPS indicator will art to ash. Do NOT switch o the machine. Check the
ash sequence of EPS indicator. Write down the ash sequence and contact your dealer for diagnosis. Your
dealer has the special tool required to diagnose, repair and clear trouble codes. Any codes will disappear
once the problem has been diagnosed and repaired by your dealer.
