INITIAL STARTUP
After you have sanitized the fresh water system, follow these proce-
dures to start the system:
1. Partially fill the fresh water tank.
2. Move WATER PUMP switch at main panel in cabin (or at helm)
to ON.
3. Open cold water galley faucet to allow air to escape. Close
faucet when you see a steady flow of water.
4. Your boat is equipped with a hot water heater, so open hot water
galley faucet to fill water heater and allow air to escape from
line. Close faucet when you see a steady flow of water.
5. Bleed air from remaining faucets by opening each one until you
see a steady flow of water and then closing faucet.
6. Fill fresh water tank to capacity.
Water Pump and Filter
Once the water pump switch is switched on, the water pump sup-
plies water under pressure to the fresh water system. The filter
keeps particles from entering the pump reservoir. Check the filter
periodically and clean if necessary. A clogged filter may be the
cause of low water pressure to the system.
Before servicing the filter, turn the water system breaker OFF and
release pressure on the system by opening all faucets. To clean the
filter, remove screen and rinse with clean water. Replace and make
sure the O-ring is seated properly when installing the cover.
Note: Refer to the water pump manual for detailed operation
and maintenance procedures.
