Why is my Chauvet Fog Machine not producing fog or producing very little?
    • D
      Daniel HarveyJul 26, 2025
There could be a few reasons why your Chauvet Fog Machine is not producing fog or has a short output. It could be due to a line blockage or air in the fluid line. Make sure there is fluid in the tank. Try turning the fog machine 45° to flatten out any bubbles and allow the fog fluid to flow properly. You can also try priming it by setting the output to the highest setting. If that doesn't work, turn off the product for 5 seconds, and then turn it back on. Repeat as necessary. Another reason could be incorrect fluid. Clean the machine thoroughly with CHAUVET® FCQ and refill it with CHAUVET® water-based haze fluid.

If your Chauvet Fog Machine doesn't power up, check the power outlet or try another outlet. Also, inspect the power cord for any damage. Replace the fuse with a good one of the same type and rating if it's blown. If none of these steps work, the product may need repair.

      Patricia SinghAug 8, 2025
If the fuse keeps blowing in your Chauvet Fog Machine, it could be due to an excessive load on the circuit. Ensure that the total load does not exceed 80% of the breaker or fuse nominal current. Another cause could be a short circuit along the power lines, so check the power lines and power cords.

If your Chauvet Fog Machine stopped pumping and is making a loud noise, it could be due to low or no fluid. Refill the product with fluid. It's also possible that the pump protection system has engaged. Release the manual fog button and press it again to reset the pump protection system.
