Why is my Chefman TURBOFRY smoking?

If you notice smoke coming from your Chefman Fryer, here's what could be happening: * If it's the first time using the fryer, the smoke should disappear after this initial use. * Too much grease in or on the food can cause smoke. Try lightly coating food with oil. * Leftover grease in the basket can also cause smoke. Clean the basket after each use.
