To enter the AF code:
1. Turn the audio system on.
AF will appear on the display.
2. Enter the AF (area frequency)
code into the unit using the
preset buttons.
3. The preset FM radio frequency
will appear on the display.
Auxiliary Device Input Jack
Your vehicle is equipped with an
audio input jack located in the
lower right corner of the radio
faceplate.
The jack allows you to connect
an auxiliary device to the audio
system.
Possible auxiliary audio sources
include:
iPod
laptop computer
MP3 player
CD changer
cassette tape player
mobile phone (with connector)
This jack is not an audio output.
Do not plug headphones into the
auxiliary input jack.
Drivers are encouraged to set
up any auxiliary device while the
vehicle is parked.
CAUTION
The driver's full attention is
always required while driving.

To connect an auxiliary device, do
the following:
1. Connect a 3.5 mm (1/8 inch)
cable from the auxiliary device
to the auxiliary input jack.
2. Turn on the portable audio
device.
3. Press the CD/AUX button
to begin playing audio from
the device over the vehicle
speakers.
AUX INPUT (auxiliary input)
will appear on the display.
Adjust the volume to the desired
level by rotating the knob .
You may need to make additional
volume adjustments to the porta-
ble audio device to achieve the
desired volume.
Press CD/AUX to toggle
between the compact disc and
auxiliary device sources.
Press AM/FM to switch to the
radio source.
Press TAPE to switch from the
portable audio device to a
cassette.
If an auxiliary device is not proper-
ly connected to the audio system,
the auxiliary audio source cannot
be selected.
ANTENNA
To remove the roof antenna,
rotate it counterclockwise.
To install the roof antenna, rotate
it clockwise.
NOTICE
Driving through an automatic
car wash with the antenna
installed may result in damage
to the antenna or the roof
panel. Be sure to remove the
antenna before entering an
automatic car wash.
