• This approval is “Universal”,which means that the
childcarseatcanbeusedonalltypesofcars.WAR-
NING!“Universal”meansthatitiscompatiblewith
most,butnotallcarseats.
WARNING
Thisisa“Universal”childrestraintdeviceandisapprovedtoECE
RegulationNo.44,amendmentseries04standards.Itissuita-
bleforuseinvehiclesandwillfitmost,butnotallcarseats.
Acorrectfitislikelyifthevehiclemanufacturerhasdeclaredthat
thevehicleiscapableofacceptinga“Universal”childrestraintfor
thisagegroup.
Thischildrestrainthasbeenclassifiedas“Universal”undermore
stringentconditionsthanthosethatwereappliedtoearlierdesi-
gnsnotdisplayingthisnotice.
Only suitable if the vehicle is fitted with a 3-point static or
3-pointretractorsafetybeltsapprovedtoUN/ECERegulation
No.16,orotherequivalentstandard.

USE OF THE PRODUCT AND CAR SEAT
WARNING!Readtheserestrictionsandrequisitescare-
fullytoensuretheproductandcarseatareusedsafely:if
youdon’tthesafetylevelscannotbeguaranteed.
Thischildseatisapprovedforseatingchildrenweighing
from 9 to 36 kilos only(from9monthstoapproxima-
tely12yeasofage).
The car seat must be tted with a 3-point static or
3-pointretractorsafetybeltsapprovedtoUN/ECERegu-
lationNo.16,orotherequivalentstandards(diag.5).
Nevertthechildcarseattoaseatthatisonlyequipped
witha2-pointsafetybelt(diag.6)
Thechildcarseatcanbettedintothefrontpassenger
seatoranyotherbackseats.Neverusethischildcarseat
ttedintocarseatsfacingsidewaysorfacingrearwards
(diag.7)
Thisproductisexpresslyintendedtobe usedonlyasa
childcarseat;itshouldnotbeusedindoors.
Toensurecorrectinstallation,checkthatthecarseathea-
drestdoesnotinterferewiththechildseat’sbackrest.
FITTING THE CHILD CAR SEAT INTO THE CAR AND
SEATING A GR. 1 CHILD (9-18 KG)
WARNING!Theseinstructionsanddiagramsareforthe
installationofthechildcar seatonthe rightback seat.
Totthechildcarseatinotherpositions,carryoutthese
operationsinthesameorder.
1. Placethechildcarseatontothechosenforwardfa-
cingcarseat(diag.8)
2. Threadthe3-pointcarsafetybeltthroughslotPon
thebackofthechildcarseat(diag.9Aand9B),and
pullitoutoftheslotontheothersideofthebackrest
(diag.9C).
3. Clickthecarsafetybeltintothebucklesothatboth
theabdominalandthediagonalstrapspassunderthe
armrest(diag.10).
4. Pullthecarsafetybeltrmly,ensuringthatthechild
carseatadherescorrectlytothecarseat(diag.11),if
necessary,carry out this operation exercising some
pressureonthechildcarseatwithyourknee.
5. Checkthatthechildcarseatisttedrmlyinplace
andadherescorrectlytothevehicleseat;checkthat
theseatbeltistight.Ifthisisnotthecase,repeatthe
ttingprocedurefromthebeginning(diag.12).
WARNING!Alwayscheckthattheseatbeltispositioned
correctlyandnopartsaretwisted.
NEVERtthecarsafetybeltinanywayotherthanthat
indicatedintheseinstructions.
Whenthechildcarseatisttedcorrectly,followthein-
structionsbelowtoseatthechild:
