1. Releasethechildcarseatharnessesfromthebuckle

2. Rotate and release the two belt routing plates R
foundundertheseat(diag.20A)slidingthemoutof
thetwoslotsinthefabriccover(diag.20B).
3. Removethetwoharnessstrapsfromthelockingpla-
teQ(diag.21)
4. RotateandreleasethetwobeltroutingplatesNfrom
thebackrest(diag.22)
5. Fromthefrontoftheseat,slideoutthetwosections
oftheharnessthroughthetworeddiagonalbeltrou-
tingslotsC(diag.23).
6. Store these two harness straps in a safe place for
futureuse.
7. Now slide the buckle and the fabric crotch strap
throughtheslotinthecentreoftheseat,sothatit
alltsinsidethehousingonthechildseat(diag.24A,
24Band24C).
ThechildcarseatisnowreadytobeinstalledforGroup
2and3children.

9. Threadthediagonalcarsafetybeltdownbehindthe

10.Clickthecarsafetybeltintothebucklesothatboth

12. Pullthediagonalcarsafetybeltstraptowardsthere-
tractor,toensurethebeltistightandttingproperly

WARNING!
• Alwayscheckthattheseatbeltispositionedcorrectly
andnopartsaretwisted.
• Check that the diagonal safety belt ts correctly
acrossthechild’sshoulderanddoesnotpressonhe
childsneck;adjusttheheadrestaccordingly.
• Checkthatthecarsafetybeltretractorisbehindthe
backrestofthecarseat(oratleastalignedtoit).
ToremoveachildfromaGroup2and3childcarseat:
1. Releasethecarsafetybeltfromitsbuckle.
2. Removethecarsafetybeltfromthechild’sbody.
3. Carefullyremovethechildfromthecarseat.
WARNING!Ifyoudonotintendtoremovethechildcar
seatfromthevehicle,slotthecarsafetybeltsbackinto
thebuckle,sothatthechildcarseatremainsfastenedsa-
felyinsidethevehicleevenwhennotused;thiswillavoid
dangerduringanaccidentorsuddenbrakingofthecar.
ADJUSTING THE HEIGHT OF THE HEAD REST
Theheightoftheheadrestcanbeadjustedtoarangeof
positionstoadaptthechildcarseattotheheightofthe
child.Whenitiscorrectlyadjusted,itensures:
• Thatthechild’sheadisalwaysheldinplaceandwell
protected(Gr.1-2-3).
• Thatthechildcarseatrestraintharnessesarealways
attherightheight,thatistheshoulderstraps(Gr.1).
• Thatthediagonalcar safetybeltsarealwaysatthe
rightheightasthestrapsareslottedthroughthehe-
adrestC(Gr.2-3).
Toadjusttheheightoftheheadrest,turntheknobAt-
tedatthetopofthebackrestuntilyoureachtherequired
height(diag.16).

Torettherestraintharnesstothechildcarseat,proceed
asfollows:
1. Jointhetwoendsoftheharnessstraps,insertthem

throughtheslotsinthefabriccoverandpullingthem
outfromundertheseat(diag.31).
