If your Chiltern Invadex Medical Equipment hoist lifts when the down button is pressed, the airline may be incorrectly installed, or the lifting tape may be reversed on the spool. To correct this, ensure the black line on the handset aligns with the raised edges on the hoist connection when inserted into the grommet on the hoist box. Alternatively, press the up button to lower the carry bar while gently pulling the lift tape down to the end of its travel. The tape will then rewind itself correctly, or the lower cutout will operate. If the lower cutout operates, the tape is wound correctly.
