Note The retaining clip is not used with all ISE, Engine 4, and Engine 4+ line cards. If your SODIMM socket
does not include the retaining clip; there is no problem. Simply ignore any instructions that refer to the
clip.
The clip is properly installed when the clip detente protrudes below the strain relief and latch. (See
Figure 19.)
