Transceiver Support for Uplink Ports
Both the Catalyst 4948E and the Catalyst 4948E-F chassis have four uplink ports that support both 1-GB
SFP and 10-GB SFP+ transceivers.
1-GB SFP Transceivers
Table B-1 lists the 1-GB SFP transceivers that are supported on the chassis uplink ports.
