b) When the switch is online, enter the show module command. Verify that the system acknowledges the new module
and that the module status is good.
Step 14 If the module is not operational, try reseating it in the slot. If the module is still not operational, contact your customer
representative.
What to do next
To ensure the proper air flow and to maintain EMI protection, make sure that there is a blank module filler plate (C9400-S-BLANK)
installed in any unused chassis slot. If a chassis slots are left open, air circulation is disrupted and the fans may not be able to adequately
cool the other modules in the chassis.
