Connect one end of the RJ-45 cable to the NME port on the Supervisor PIC.

The console port provides local administrative access to the router and its command-line interface (CLI).
Before You Begin
Install the Supervisor PIC.
Install the Supervisor Card.
Restrictions
Each Supervisor PIC must have a console port connection when running a redundant configuration in
the chassis.
