Setting Summer Time
Summer time
Summer Time is a system adopted in some countries/areas to gain an extra hour
of daylight during summer by advancing clocks by one hour. In an area where the
summer time is in effect, the time signal contains a summer time check signal.
When receiving the summer time check signal, this watch automatically enables/
disables (turns ON/OFF) the Summer Time setting.
Summer Time can be manually disabled in an area where the time signal can be
received but the summer time is not in effect. (See pages 30 and 31.)
Summer Time can be manually enabled even if the watch is outside the
area. (See pages 30 and 31.)
The summer time rules may change depending on the country or area.
A summer time period is different depending on the country or area.
