H33* Abbreviated instruction
Adjusting the hour easily
You can adjust hour hand easily for overseas trips or other occasions.
• Deactivate signal reception before adjustment to prevent unexpected change to
Japan time.
1.
Push in the crown.
2.
Press and release the upper right button
B
.
The second hand moves back and forward rapidly and returns to normal
movement to show the hour becomes adjustable.
• It returns to normal automatically in about 10 seconds without any
operation.
3.
Rotate the crown to set the hour.
4.
Press and release the upper right button
B
to finish the
procedure.
• It returns to current time indication automatically in about 10 seconds
without pressing the button.
Checking the reference position
1.
Pull out the crown.
2.
Press and hold the upper right button
B
for 5 seconds or more.
The hands start to move to the current reference positions stored in memory.
3.
Check the reference position.
Correct reference positions:
• Hour, minute and second hands: 0 hour 00 minute 0 second
When the current reference position is different from the correct one, adjust
the position following the steps of

.
4.
Press and release the upper right button
B
to finish the
procedure.
• It returns to current time indication automatically in about 2 minutes
without pressing the button.
Correcting the reference position
1.
Push in the crown.
2.
Press and hold the upper right button
B
for 5 seconds or more.
The hands start to move to the current reference positions stored in memory.
3.
Pull out the crown after all the hands stop moving.
4.
Rotate the crown to adjust the hands.
5.
Push in the crown.
6.
Press and release the upper right button
B
to finish the
procedure.
• It returns to current time indication automatically in about 2 minutes
without pressing the button.
After correcting the reference position
After correctiong the reference position, adjust the time manually or by receiving
time signals manually (on-demand reception).
