Removing the cartridge
F Stowtheblackpipe.
F Detachtheangledbasefromthewhitepipe.
F Supportthecompressorvertically.
F Unscrewthecartridgefromthebottom.
Bewareofdischargesoffluid.
Theexpirydateofthefluidisindicated
onthecartridge.
Thesealantcartridgeisdesignedfor
singleuse;evenifonlypartlyused,it
mustbereplaced.
Afteruse,donotdiscardthecartridge
intotheenvironment,takeittoan
authorised waste disposal site or a
CITROËNdealer.
Donotforgettoobtainanewsealant
cartridge,availablefromCITROËN
dealersorfromaqualifiedworkshop.
F Connectthecompressor'selectricplugto
thevehicle's12Vsocket.
F Startthevehicleagainandleavethe
enginerunning.
Assoonaspossible,gotoaCITROËN
dealeroraqualifiedworkshop.
Youmustinformthetechnicianthatyou
haveusedthiskit.Afterinspection,the
technician will advise you on whether
thetyrecanberepairedorifitmustbe
replaced.
F Adjustthepressureusingthecompressor
(toinflate:switchB in position "I";to
deflate:switchB in position "O" and press
button C),inaccordancewiththevehicle's
tyre pressure label (located on the left
handdooraperture).
A loss of pressure indicates that the
puncturehasnotbeenfullyplugged;
contactaCITROËNdealerorqualified
workshopforassistance.
F Removeandstowthekit.
F Driveatreducedspeed(50mph[80km/h]
max)limitingthedistancetravelledto
approximately120miles(200km).
