Replacing a fuse
Fuses under the bonnet
All maintenance on the vehicle's fuses must be
carried out by a
CITROËN authorised repairer
or a
qualified professional.
Your E-MEHARI is an electric vehicle that
includes systems operating at high voltage
and high currents. The maintenance
on the fuses under the bonnet of your
E-MEHARI must be carried out by
a qualified person.
Incorrect handling could cause an electric
shock resulting in serious injury or death.
Fuses in the passenger
compartment
If an electric system is not working, check the
condition of the fuses.
Remove the nut from the access cover
(1) located below the passenger storage
compartment.
The tweezers for extracting fuses (1) are
located under the bonnet.
To check and replace a fuse:
-
Extract the fuse using the tweezers (1)
-
Slide it sideways to release it from the
tweezers
- It is recommended not to use the free fuse
locations
- Do not forget to return the tweezers (1) to
their holder
Check the condition of the fuse and, if
necessary, replace it with a new fuse,
which must be of the same rating as the
original fuse.
A fuse of too high a
rating could cause
overheating of the electrical system (risk
of fire) if there were abnormal current
consumption in a
circuit.
